Great food & service! Amazing view!!!

It was ok. Getting out was better.Couldn't eat my gumbo.Wonderful shrimp in it but shrimp was not devane

Went there this afternoon and was totally disappointed. We had to ask our server several times for different items. The second time asking for bread he had the nerve to say he was extremely busy. We started with drinks and he said there were no cold mugs for the beer. We ordered an appetizer and it took forever to come. My husband ordered his second beer and again it took forever. When he brought the appetizer which was not exactly hot but it was edible I told him for the third time I still wanted the bread. The problem was he forgot. My husband ordered another beer and he waited again. We were told it was probably at the bar. We ordered another appetizer which was spinach and artichoke dip that cost 14.95 and it was a very small serving.. I spoke to the manager and he kept saying sorry. He too was also clueless. There are many local seafood restaurant that are better. I won’t be back.

LANDRY'S seafood HAPPY Hour is great!! The bartenders ROCK! Steven and the other guy are both AMAZING, kind, friendly and entertaining. The food is good, but the service is best.

Best view on the lakefront. Food is really good. Prices are a bit high, but not outrageous. You're paying for the service and the view. Great place for lunch or dinner. Nice bar and a large wine selection.

Landry's is a wonderful seafood restaurant. It overlooks the lake so there are some beautiful views. The dining room is surrounded by glass windows so there really isn't a bad place to sit if you want to look at the lake. But of course when you go to a restaurant the food is what you're interested in and the food there is very good. The wait staff is very friendly and talkin is abundant. While it is on a second level there is an elevator if you're unable to do the steps.

Salt, salt and more salt. Yuck. Overpriced and oversalted food. Go have a happy hour drink on the deck, but skip the food.

Love this place. Have never had a bad experience there. One of the few places that knows catfish isn't seafood. Snapper, Drum, Amberjack, and other REAL seafood available and always delicious. Great ambiance. Don't turn up your nose because it's a chain restaurant. Better than a lot of non-chain New Orleans restaurants.

The food was good, the views nice but the 5 stars are for service. Our server Charles was an older man but awesome. He seemed like a mind reader. He would show up with what you needed before you asked for it! He was also very nice and polite. He made us feel like we were in a high dollar place where they cater to you.

Great seafood restaurant right on the water. You can enjoy a fantastic meal in an elegant setting, while relaxing and overlooking the water with beautiful views. They have high end decor, great service, fantastic and delicious food and a romantic and peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy.

Started going here years ago. Was me n my husband first date. It used to be delicious and attentive. But we went a few weeks ago n it wasn't the same. Service and Food slow. It was lunch time and not packed...Could definitely be a lot better. They have the potential...

The food and the service was very good when you do get the food though you may have to adding a little bit of salt and pepper or hot sauce just for added flavor but everything was still great.

The view is outstanding, but the food was just awful. What a shame.

My favorite happy hour in New Orleans, beautiful place with great views, wonderful people and great food and drinks. We come to Landry's on the Lake every time when we have a chance. It is also great to have dinner on a terrace during the full moon - you have such a wonderful view of the lake and the Moon, very romantic. They give you a free piece of cake with a candle for your birthday.

Food was excellent. Went there with a group of 9 and they were able to accommodate us by putting baby in a booster. Quality and taste very just what was needed to show my family from out of town a range of New Orleans cuisine. They have a kids menu too which is great because sometimes kids are finicky when it comes to seafood. Staff was amazing as well. I forgot my umbrella and came back to get it and the receptionist said “Jasmine your back so soon”. That was great especially seeing how there were so many people.

BEST BLUE CRAB CAKE I'VE EVER HAD.

Although nestled in a really nice part of town, this was one I won't revisit. Although we had made reservations and the restaurant was three quarters empty, we still had to wait for a table. Very limited allergen menu. The GM was gracious enough to ensure our order had no cross contamination but everything was bland. I think they were short handed because the service was mediocre. Everyone was rushing around and our waiter would disappear for extended periods. We made it known that it was my birthday and it went unnoticed. I've visited many Landry locations and it's never been this bad.

Seafood was great. Hamburgers were great as well appetizers. The ice tea was very watery. The dirty rice was NOT dirty rice. It was brown crunchy colored rice with no meat in it. The green beans were hard and had a strange spice/seasoning that didn't belong.

I know Landry's seafood is a good restaurant,. I have dined there before,. But lastnight my family and I had an horrible experience,. Our food was not fresh,. Seemed old or something. My crawfish etoufee was dry looking,. My dirty rice was kinda hard,. As if it had been sitting for sometime,. it really appeared to be some dirty/old rice,. My daughter's gumbo was a waiste, as she descrwaste, a slimy..

Excellent food and service, the older gentlemen that served us was on top of his game.

Stopped in during my visit to family. The food was really good. I truly enjoyed it. It was extremely fresh. Our server, Roger, did a wonderful job. The only thing I found that could really use some serious upgrading was their restroom! It was not a pleasant experience. But other than that I would recommend this place.

If you’re visiting New Orleans it’s a really nice change of pace to go out to the lakefront. Landry’s has excellent food, a very large variety, happy hour, and a cat that lives outside on the balcony he’s very sweet and friendly and happy to get little tidbits from the table. She’s a sweetie. I would say if you want some real good New Orleans seafood just go here enjoy the view on the lakefront it’s quite beautiful if you can get a table outside do so. Our waiter was very accommodating and friendly and made excellent suggestions based on what we were asking. Just a reminder to get the gumbo without the rice or put the rice on the side.

Great experience- chose restaurant because it is close to the UNO Lakefront Arena. Wait staff was efficient, stuffed shrimp delicious, and Cadillac margarita was perfect

I had a terrible experience it was my birthday and my kids treated me.. steak was expensive and burnt and service was horrible.. I had rum punch drink and notice I had a bug in it and I told the waitress he brought it to managers attention and he didn’t acknowledge us at all no apologies at all.. our bill was 210.00 dollars we still tipped the waitress 20.00 dollars but we never going back there again.. this the Landry’s on lakeshore drive..

Traveling by and had dinner here. The staff was wonderful. I believe our server's name was Dephney. She was a delight. We had the fried and broiled seafood plates. Very good! Would strongly recommend. We also had a lovely view if the water and sunset.

I have to say that once again this restaurant fails to impress. We ordered 2 fresh fish dishes and both filets were over cooked and paired with green beans and dirty rice 🤮

Very unorganized getting seated. Groups that came after us were seated and served way before us. It wasn't that busy. Bartender was awesome.

Grabbed lunch here and everything was great! Service was outstanding food was delicious a bit pricey for certain dishes but a large menu to choose from. The only thing that could have been better was dinner outside. However I do reside in Louisiana where the weather is unpredictable lol.

My waitress Tiffany was so kind and the chef made sure we was happy customers we will be back thanks to Tiffany and Chef 6/16/2020 3pm

Excellent service and atmosphere with a soothing view of the lake. Both a haunt for locals and a must for visiting friends or family. Try the crawfish bread.

Food the food was very good and the waitress that I had was very excellent very professional and very good she had a good spirit about herself made you feel real welcome

Service staff is outstanding even during covid dining restrictions.

Amazing service and food. Brittany was very attentive and sweet. Manager Chris went out of his way to attend to my moms dietary restrictions. Amazing. Wish we lived near here so we could come back again!
